If you are an inducted Thespian in Mesa High's Troupe #1182 and are wanting to compete in the November 2025 Regional Competition, please review and complete the information below!

Important requirements for competing at Regionals:

• You must already be an inducted Thespian.

• Each student can individually compete in up to THREE (3) events in the solo section and up to THREE (3) events in the duo/group section.

• Each student will be charged $5 for each event that they participate in.

• Each student will also be charged a one-time $5 fee that goes towards the School Fee we pay to compete. (This is a $5 charge whether you are participating in any number of events).

• Each student will be required to provide their own ride to Mesa Community College on November 20th at whatever time they are scheduled to compete.

• Students who compete at Regionals are required to wear ALL BLACK attire (including socks, shoes) and no large, colorful, or distracting jewelry/accessories. No costumes are allowed to be worn.

• For every 5 events that we as a school bring, we are required to provide 1 judge. This can be a parent/guardian, sibling over 18 years old, alumni, etc. Really, anyone who feels comfortable judging these theatrical events. When students sign up to compete, they will be asked to provide a parent/guardian email address as we all an optional additional email that we can use to try to find Judges. 

• If more students/groups sign up for an event than we are allowed to bring, we will hold auditions before October 20th to determine who will compete.

For Acting/Musical Solo and Duo events, we can bring up to 6 entries in each category

For Acting/Musical Group events, we can bring up to 2 entries in each category

For all Technical events, we can bring up to 6 entries in each category

When signing up for regionals below, you will need to have all information about your competition pieces ready - including show title, playwright, song titles, etc.
