The International Thespian Society

The International Thespian Society (ITS) is a national honor society for middle and high school theatre students. It recognizes and rewards students for their achievements in theatre arts, both in performance and production. To become a Thespian, students must earn a certain number of points by participating in theatre activities like acting, technical theatre, and community service.

Mesa High School is an officially registered thespian troupe, Troupe #1182. Through hard work and theatre excellence, you can join our thespian troupe too! We hold inductions each year and have students keep track of the points they earn leading up to that. After you are inducted, you also have the opportunity to level-up in the thespian ranks. Check out the links below for more information.

Lettering
in
Theatre

Just like athletes can earn a varsity letter for their achievements in sports, students in the Mesa High Theatre Program have the opportunity to earn a varsity letter for their outstanding commitment, involvement, and contributions to our productions and classes.

This honor recognizes the hard work, dedication, and excellence demonstrated by students throughout the year—both on stage and behind the scenes. Click the links below to view the specific requirements and see how you can earn your letter in theatre!
