Join us for an unforgettable evening (or afternoon) of entertainment with Jackrabbit Theatre Company's production of Play On! at Mesa High School. We perform Thursday - Saturday, November 6 - 8 at 7:00pm with our primary cast, and Saturday, November 8th at 3:00pm with our incredible cast of understudies!

Play On! is a fast-paced, family-friendly, 100 minute comedy by Rick Abbott that follows a local community theatre troupe as they attempt to stage a disastrous murder mystery play. Everything that can go wrong—does. From forgotten lines and technical mishaps to diva actors and last-minute rewrites, Play On! is a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the world of theatre.

Auditions for our spring musical will be held Monday & Tuesday, December 1st & 2nd.
Auditions will consist of a song cutting, a short reading, and a dance combination.

Musical Callbacks

Callbacks for our spring musical will be held Friday, December 5th beginning at 3:30pm. We will make cuts as we go throughout the process and hope to be finished by 6:30pm that evening.
Callbacks will consist of a dance combination, solo AND part singing, as well as cold readings.

Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical.  Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

Running Time: Only 65 minutes (NO INTERMISSION)

Mandatory Parent Meeting - Musical Production

Join us as we go over all the important information that is needed for all parents of cast members of our spring musical. There will be forms for you to fill out and return as well as ways you can help our production be a successful one. We will be participants of the ASU Gammage High School Music Theatre Awards again this year and we will be going over important information regarding that process and what will be required of participants this May after graduation at the Awards Ceremony which will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 6:30pm!
